Robert Andrew Dawson was born in Pittsburgh ,Pennsylvania. As a child he took art classes ,and was always drawing and painting. He went to culinary school , in 1993 apon graduating he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina . Shortly after arriving he bought his first camera, and started taking pictures of mountains and waterfalls in the area. He then added another camera for black and white photography as well as color. He uses his artist talents as a kid to focus through his images.
